About fell out of my seat reading this question. I moved from Fort McMurray to Calgary.
My husband has a Ford Explorer, and yet in his back and hard for us, we have two tanks. It took about 9 hours.
To be sure, not knowing what car you drive, Id say two tanks of gas (), especially when a small car. Definitely 8 or 10 hours.
The roads are actually quite good.

Use a site like Yahoo and click on the cards. These tell you how far and how long the journey. Calculate how many miles per gallon your car. Add the cost per gallon of gasoline. Then do the calculations.

It depends on the exact usage. Try to keep to a mapping service for the ad. Below.
Go to www.mapquest.com and click on "Addresses". Enter your starting and destination. This will tell you that the best route, mileage and estimated driving times.
Factor fuel your car and the cost of gas to the total cost to be calculated. What is the travel diary of time depends on the amount of time you can, before he left to go to the day. The roads are good up to the FT. McMurray.
This is roughly equivalent to 700 kilometers. Depending on the speed of the drive, and the type of car for the determination of the cost. Often the unit over the distance, and go quickly into a compact to medium term.
My guess is $ 40 to $ 50 one way
Remember to use his speed, the faster you go, the more gas you.
